  • kerosene;
  • chlorine-containing products;
  • turpentine;

  • herbs with bitterness (tansy, wormwood), as well as other plants (rosemary, lavender);
  • ammonia, etc.

They are all used to protect a sleeping area or an entire facility from bed bugs.

Home remedies are easy to make, but if there is a strong odor, it will be difficult to sleep in the room where the substance was used. There is no scheme for applying home remedies to surfaces, you only need to renew the layer periodically. Because of their low effectiveness, folk remedies are only used together with insecticides. They can also be used to prevent reinfestation, but then the substance should be applied only to the areas where bed bugs appear in the apartment: next to cracks, baseboards, joints of pipes and floor slabs, along the perimeter of ventilation duct openings.
