I always thought that the house is inhabited by bed bugs - brown insects, which are often found on the bed, about 5-8 mm long, with stripes on the back.
My daughter and I went to the pharmacy to buy allergy medicine, and the pharmacist looked at me very strangely when I said something about bed bugs. She called them bed bugs. It turned out they were names for the same parasite. I looked online for bed bugs, the pictures with bed bugs are identical, which confirms the pharmacist's opinion - they are the same parasite.
